Kautex Maschinenbau (Kautex) is a global market leader for high-end extrusion blow-moulding machines used for the production of complex technical parts and packaging. The company represents technological leadership and reliability in the field of blow-filling and holds several international patents. Kautex customers are automotive OEMs, leading automotive suppliers and industrial companies which use Kautex machines for complex applications such as the production of plastic fuel tanks for passenger cars as well as industrial and consumer packaging goods. After several changes in ownership Kautex was acquired by a turnaround fund and brought back to profitability. After its successful restructuring, Borromin, together with the management, acquired 100% of Kautex in 2007, in order to drive the business's international growth.
